Abstract

The increasing rates of newly diagnosed cases with type 1 diabetes among the youths (<20 years of age) with the suggestive evidence of poor glycemic control in teens with type 1 diabetes and the high rates of no show to clinic appointments have strived us to initiate the WICKED program, adapted from the UK. Improving transitional care for young people has the potential to improve health for many years to come. Currently there is a lack of any group strucuted education program in the MENA region.
