Abstract

One in every 5 diabetes patients has moderate-to-severe peripheral neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy causes sensory loss and, hence, neuropathic ulcers and limb loss. This study aims to evaluate the prevalence of such a common and morbid neuropathy complication in a sample of Saudi diabetic patients.
