Abstract

Prolactin is a hormone which is primarily synthesized and secreted by lactotroph cells located in the anterior pituitary gland. Hyperprolactinemia, which is excess levels of Prolactin, may be caused by a number of etiologies including pathologic, functional, drug-related, or physiologic. We report a cause of a transgender male with hyperprolactinemia with no obvious etiology.
