Abstract
Thyroid storm is a life-threatening complication of hyperthyroidism usually due to triggers such as infection, trauma, stopping anti-thyroid medications or addition of new medications including psychotropics. We present a case of thyroid storm that was likely precipitated by the use of cyclobenzaprine for acute back pain.
