Abstract
Pituitary tumors have a prevalence of approximately 16.7% in the general population. The tumors regularly present with innocuous symptoms and are often incidentally identified on imaging. Pituitary adenomas are the most common types of sellar tumors of the anterior pituitary. Here we discuss an uncommon, benign tumor of the posterior pituitary initially assumed to be a macroadenoma.
