Abstract
Hurthle cell carcinoma is a form of differentiated follicular thyroid carcinoma and the presence of this histology is a poor prognostic feature. Hematogenous spread most often involves the bone, lung, or central nervous system. Metastases of differentiated thyroid cancer to other sites are extremely uncommon, often worrisome, and considered a main cause of cancer-specific mortality in these patients. We present a case of Hurthle cell thyroid carcinoma with breast metastases.
