Abstract

Adrenal venous sampling (AVS) is performed to differentiate between unilateral and bilateral disease in patients with primary aldosteronism (PA). It is unknown if AVS would be helpful in determining the laterality of a pheochromocytoma in patients with bilateral adrenal masses. The objective of this study was to analyze adrenal vein (AV) epinephrine and norepinephrine levels in non-pheochromocytoma patients to determine the range of normal values.
