Abstract

We describe the diagnosis and successful management of a rare case of occult severe hyperparathyroidism due to a well-differentiated pulmonary neuroendocrine tumor. While hypercalcemia improved after tumor resection, the patient developed hungry bone syndrome causing hypocalcemia.
