Abstract
Computations of equivalent widths of the absorption lines of He I 4471 and Mg II 4481 in early type main sequence stars with various rotational velocities and viewed at different angles of inclination are presented. The results of this investigation suggest that it is impracticable to use absorption line strengths to determine angles of inclination.
