Abstract

Absorbed states of hydrogen on the Ni(110) surface have been studied using high-resolution vibrational electron energy loss spectroscopy and low-energy electron diffraction. Structural models for the (2×1)-H, (1×2)-H and streaky (1×2)-H surfaces are discussed.
