Abstract

The problem of absolute stability of a discrete time feedback interconnection is revisited. For the case of a slope-restricted nonlinearity in feedback with a linear time invariant system it is shown that several of the recently proposed stability tests are special cases of the Zames-Falb criterion. Moreover a new computationally tractable stability test is proposed that simultaneously employs full-block circle, Yakubovich and Zames-Falb multipliers.
