Abstract

Transmission functions are applied to a model representing the atmosphere for specified pressures and concentrations of absorbing gases corresponding to total atmospheric paths above altitudes of 15 km to 30 km and zenith angles of 0° and 40°. The computed transmittance is then applied to the solar spectral radiance envelope curve obtained in Part I to give solar spectra with 0.02-μ resolution in the range 3.5–5.5 μ.
