Abstract
For detection of impurity ions in magnetically confined plasmas by means of active neutral Li beam diagnostics emission cross sections for electron capture by C q+ ( q = 3, 4, 5, 6) and O q+ ( q = 4, 5, 6, 7) ions have been measured. The ion impact energies correspond to injection of 7Li (2s) with 20 and 30 KeV respectively.
