Abstract

Absolute cross sections have been obtained for the reactions $^{6}\mathrm{Li}$($d$,$n^{3}\mathrm{He}$)$^{4}\mathrm{He}$ and $^{6}\mathrm{Li}$($d$,$p^{3}\mathrm{H}$)$^{4}\mathrm{He}$ for deuteron energies from 100 to 800 keV. The energy spectra of particles from these reactions are continuums because of the three-body final state. Total cross sections as well as angular distributions have been obtained with accuracies of 10 to 17%. Comparisons of energy spectra are made to predictions of simple models.NUCLEAR REACTIONS $^{6}\mathrm{Li}$($d$,$p^{3}\mathrm{H}$)$^{4}\mathrm{He}$, ${E}_{d}=0.1\ensuremath{-}0.8$ MeV, $^{6}\mathrm{Li}$($d$,$n^{3}\mathrm{He}$)$^{4}\mathrm{He}$, ${E}_{d}=0.2\ensuremath{-}0.8$ MeV; enriched target; measured $\ensuremath{\sigma}({E}_{d},\ensuremath{\theta},{E}_{n})$, $\ensuremath{\sigma}({E}_{d},\ensuremath{\theta},{E}_{p})$, ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{t}({E}_{d})$.
