Absolute Continuity of the Spectrum of the Periodic Schrödinger Operator in a Cylinder with Robin Boundary Condition

Abstract

We show that the spectrum of the Schrodinger operator H = −Δ + V in a smooth cylinder with Robin boundary condition ∂vu = σu is purely absolutely continuous, assuming that the coefficients V and σ are periodic in the axial directions.
