Abstract
The purpose of this article is to report a previously undescribed MR imaging finding that is associated with osteochondral injuries of the knee. In adult patients, segmental absence of chemical shift artifact in the subchondral femoral condyles on T1-weighted MR images is associated with osteochondral fractures.
