Abstract

Evidence is presented for the presence of endogenous (+)-abscisin II, ((+-dormin) in phloem exudate to willow ( Salix viminalis ) obtained as honeydew from the aphid Tuberolachnus salignus (Gmelin). It is shown that the inhibitor content of phloem-exudate is influenced by daylength.
