Abstract

In this issue of Neurology ®, Lambru et al.1 suggest changing the International Headache Society (IHS) classification (International Classification of Headache Disorders [ICHD]) for 2 rare headache syndromes and collapsing them into 1 entity. This seems to be a rather subtle change and may pose the question of whether this might be better suited for subspecialist discussion. Nevertheless, this question strikes at the definition of classifications and thus at the heart of philosophical science and is therefore rather likely to be discussed a lot. So what is it all about?
