Abstract

Abstract The concept of S-continuity of mappings from systems into systems is introduced, which is a unified concept of those of continuities of either mappings from topological spaces into topological spaces or mappings from systems into systems listed in Ref. 1. Some properties of S-continuous mappings under the operations—free sum and product—are given. The general controllability of the images and the pre-images of S-continuous mappings are studied. Some open questions are posed
