Abstract

Based on early developed approach the simple and clear relations for evaluation of the statistical error of transit time cross-correlation measurement are obtained. Comparison with the BRD and France experimental data indicates rather good agreement between calculated estimations and experimental scattering observed under sodium flow measurements by cross-correlation of temperature fluctuations and under PWR primary flow measurements by correlation of N 16 fluctuations. Comparison with Japan evaluation method is also made. The aims of further investigations are formulated.
