Abstract

Abstract Each year, in many parts of the world, foodborne disease represents a significant cause of hospitalization. According to World Health Organization, foodborne botulism is a potentially fatal disease caused by a variety of foods, contaminated with different neurotoxins related to Clostridium botulinum.
