Abstract

Educational goals and values of the teaching, learning and assessment of undergraduate mathematics are considered. A partial overview of the author’s experience is represented and the necessity of balanced application of CAS in undergraduate mathematics education is discussed. The idea is to make what is important CAS supported, rather than what is CAS-supported important.
