Can busy young cadets at West Point find happiness writing and reading poetry, scanning lines of verse, and doing daily meditation? In the spring of 2000, Marilyn Nelson found out. Her experience is described in an article in the March 2001 issue of the Hudson Review. Here is an excerpt.
