Abstract

Several historical accounts are used as sources to better understand the travels of Australian Aborigines abroad between 1606 and 1875. Instances of their capture by early Spanish and Dutch seamen from 1606 to be taken to Manila and Indonesia, and their later willing travels abroad even as part of a cricket team to England in 1868 are recounted.
