Abstract

An unusual case of abnormal rotation of the right kidney with extra renal calyces and pelvis is reported in a Caucasian female. The hilum of this kidney is directed posteriorly. The condition did not appear to be associated with any pathology. This case is discussed in the light of the its embryological development.
