SummaryJensen, U. & Lixue, C.: Abies seed protein profile divergent from other Pinaceae. ‐ Taxon 40: 435–440. 1991. ‐ ISSN 0040‐0262.Legumin‐like 55 KD dimers were found to belong to a major seed storage protein in most genera of Pinaceae. However, the 12 Abies species investigated proved to be an exception, failing to reveal any such proteins in the seeds.
