Abstract

Abstract A 73-year-old woman presented with metastatic lung disease with primary from the thyroid mass and with sepsis complicating gastroenteritis and respiratory tract infection. On a computerized computer tomography scan, an aberrant right subclavian artery was detected. It is a rare abnormality of the aortic arch. There is a need for increased awareness, knowledge of the implications for patient management, and development of cardiothoracic surgery.
