Abstract

Splenogonadal fusion is a rare congenital anomaly characterized by fusion between the spleen and the gonad. The diagnosis is usually made at operation or at autopsy, and few reports of the imaging findings of this entity have been published.1–4 Preoperative diagnosis may help prevent unnecessary invasive surgery or orchiectomy. We report the abdominal ultrasonographic findings of splenogonadal fusion.
