Abstract

Introduction: Solitary fibrous tumours (SFTs) are mesenchymal tumours, first described in 1931, as distinctive tumours arising from the pleura. SFTs can originate throughout the body, the mainstay of treatment is surgery. Abdominal SFTs are rare, with the majority of the literature reporting single Case reports. Herein, we describe the experience of the management and outcomes of abdominal SFTs within a single sarcoma regional unit.
