Abstract

A fifty year old agitated, combative man was immobilized with a TASER gun. The electric barbs penetrated his skin on anterior chest within one foot apart. He collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics found the rhythm to be ventricular fibrillation (VF). Multiple defibrillation shocks were given without success. Autopsy determined the cause of death was due to Electrocution, TASER and Methamphetamine use.
