Abstract
Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is an effective treatment for obesity. Pre and post bariatric surgery nutrient deficiencies exist commonly. Literature on this is scant in Asian populations. Our study aims to identify predictors for baseline anemia in an Asian bariatric population and compare anemia and related nutrient deficiencies at baseline and 1-year post LSG.
