Abstract

molecular chaperone activity (clusterin). Interestingly, other proteomic studies have identified clusterin and CILP-1 as being upregulated in early human OA. These biomarkers may be involved in early repair responses in cartilage and thus may be useful for the detection of early changes in OA.
