Abstract
Main committee of Power Generation Facility Code (MC-PGFC) of Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) established rules to manage pipe wall thinning on 2005-2006, and they also made a roadmap in 2007 to enhance pipe wall thinning management rules. Research Committee on Improvement and Practical Use of Pipe-Wall-Thinning Management (P-SCCII-4) of JSME drafted a revised version of the roadmap based on the questionnaire on March 2014. This paper shows summary of the questionnaire and the roadmap. The priority of establishment of verification methods for application to the domestic power plant was suggested to be high, in which the relation among the purpose of wall-thinning-prediction methods, how to use them, and accuracy of them should be clarified.
