Abstract
STM-Power Inc., U.S., have commenced to shipped 55kW Stirling engine (STE) to the market of distributed generation. The introduction of the STE is already in progress in overseas and there are lots actual results of operation. Similarly, we have begun field tests of the STE in 2005. We will study the STE systems with a view to establishing technology that will be excellent in energy-saving performance and environmental performance., e.g. biomass use and waste heat use. In this paper, we report as to our field tests of the STE (produced by STM-Power Inc.). Moreover, we describe about our struggle against generation systems using waste heats from burning biomass and so on.
