Abstract
Latin American women from all walks of life are organising against issues that oppress them, from debt and industrialisation to gender based violence. Entre Mujeres (Among Women) unites women's NGOs to influence funding agencies and Governments, and to create ties between Southern and European women. This North-South co-operation needs to be extended. The South is responsible for choosing equal partners and NGOs should act as facilitators between multilateral agencies and grassroots women. The overarching aim of Entre Mujeres is to support and improve the existing women's movement. Carbajal ends with a list of recommendations to women's NGOs.
