Abstract
In order to extend the output voltage range of wireless charger for electric vehicles (EV), a wireless power transfer (WPT) system based on decoupled dual transmitters is proposed. The proposed system can work under three modes which are divided based on the working states of the two transmitters. Through transition among the three modes, the range of output voltage can beextended. Besides the range of output voltage, the range of output power can be extended by the proposed WPT system as well. More than that, the proposed method posses these merits: ZVS operation for all semiconductor devices of high-frequency inverter, cost effective/low cost attributed to a novel three-leg high-frequency inverter. The rationality of the theory is verified by simulation.
