Abstract
Wide Area Network (WAN) has enormous demands in the digital era because WAN connects computers/devices globally to the Internet. Where these connections help in the communication of devices and data transfer to users at geographical locations. WAN is a collection of two or more Local Area Networks (LANs). There are many advantages to the usage of a WAN network, including data transfer, accessing data from the Internet for educational purposes, etc., The advancements in daily usage of technology made us work on wide area networks. We use WAN in the medical, academic sectors and almost all sectors. In this work, a WAN is implemented using a cisco packet tracer representing the actual world internet application. In the proposed network design, devices can converse (emailing, accessing data/applications from servers, managing applications) with other devices of the same network (Local Area Networks) and WAN. A topology design has been used to ensure instruments are connected all over. Using the cisco packet tracer, we obtained transfer data, sent emails, and network efficiency.
