Abstract
The Weyl correspondence between quantum mechanical observables and quasi-classical functions of the coordinates and momenta has been extended to angular momentum operators. We then discuss whether this correspondence can be used for the definition of external and internal coordinates and momenta in a system of two (or more) angular momenta. The paper ends with a digression on external, internal, and collective coordinates.
