Abstract

Weighted fractional Fourier transform (WFRFT) is a novel anti-interception and anti-scanning communication method, which has been used in satellite communication system. On the analysis of the WFRFT signal and its characteristics, a synchronous method of WFRFT signal based on delay multiplication is proposed. This method estimated the rotation factor sequence by using delay multiplication, and demodulated the information by the estimated parameters. In addition, numerical simulations on AWGN channels are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed method according to average Bit-Error-Rate (BER) in different conditions of Signal-Noise-Rate (SNR). The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively estimate the parameter and complete signal synchronization reliably.
