Abstract
Partial differential equations models work well on many complex image processing problems. However, amounts of iterations and considerable computation are often required to solve these models. This paper presents a new algorithm for image denoising based on noise variance estimation and inhomogeneous linear diffusion equation. The traditional results can be improved to a certain extent without acute increased computation. Several numerical experiments are implemented at last and the accuracy and efficiency of proposed algorithm are verified.
