Abstract

Based on the classic bistable stochastic resonance (SR) system, a class of novel composite multi-statble SR system combined with the Gaussian potential(GP) model is proposed in this paper. Above all, the influence of the potential function on different structural parameters is analyzed. By changing the system parameters, the potential function can be switched between the double potential well and the triple potential well. It can be found that the model has different characteristics switching between different modes. Besides, for different input signals such as periodic signal and weak impact signal, a knowledge-based particle swarm optimization(KPSO) algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of SR model with the output signal to noise ratio (SNRout) and kurtosis index as the fitness functions. In the most representative noise environment of $a$ stable noise, multiple low-frequency weak signal, multiple high-frequency weak signal and impact signal are effective detected.
