It is important to mention the name of Vaidya Madhusudan Shastri ji in this context. He not only made significant contributions to the field of Ayurveda but also mentored a generation of Ayurvedic practitioners, leaving behind a lasting legacy. Originally from Rajasthan, Vaidya Madhusudan Shastri ji moved to Jamnagar, Gujarat, in 1956. He taught in the Department of Ayurveda Samhita, holding various positions and eventually serving as the Dean. Known for his gentle nature and eloquence, his students highly respected him. Vaidya Madhusudan Shastri ji was renowned for his clinical practice based on a classical patient dietary regime.
