Abstract

The application of emerging technologies has promoted the rapid development and popularity of e-government. This paper takes 372 CSSCI papers in the field of e-government in China as the research object, and uses bibexcel, UNICET and SPSS software to perform co-word clustering analysis and visualize the clustering relationships. The research hotspots of e-government in China were found to include research on the development trend of e-government, research on the integration of e-government and new media, research on e-governance in the information society, and research on government information management and data governance. The analysis of the research hotspots provides references for the further development of e-government in China.
