Abstract
With this volume, A. Norman Jeffares has performed a useful service for both students and scholars. He has assembled a generous selection of texts and it is a genuine bonus to have them all grouped in one convenient volume. Along with the complete text of the second edition of A Vision, Jeffares includes “Swedenborg, Mediums, and the Desolate Places”, Per Arnica Silentia Lunae, the Dedication, Introduction and “The Dance of the Four Royal Persons” from the first edition of A Vision, extracts from “Pages from a Diary Written in Nineteen Hundred and Thirty”, and a selection of poems associated with Per Arnica Silentia Lunae and A Vision. Jeffares contributes a fourteen-page Introduction and there are fifty pages of notes.KeywordsComplete TextJapanese InterpreterPrinting OfficePlatonic IdeaStandard Reference WorkThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
