Abstract

A high sensitivity (0.1 mV), short response time (1 ms) electronic system for measurement of surface potential change by means of the static capacitor method has been constructed. Application of the new system to a study of weakly adsorbed, molecular hydrogen deposited on a thin iron film precovered with atomic hydrogen adspecies is presented.
