Abstract
A simple temperature controller which does not involve complicated electronic equipment is described. It provides flexible, accurate temperature control for a wide range of cryogenic systems and laboratory experiments. The controller can be operated in several different modes to achieve minimum start up time and maximum operational flexibility. Using the same principle and only slight modifications, it can also be applied to the control of high temperature.
