Abstract

Abstract This article describes a logical verification model for evaluating, verifying and improving the reliability of a manufactured and assembled system. The proposed verification model is based on the analysis of the subsystems instead of the system as such, and results in an expression for the probability of no critical failures in the system after the verification. Two verification plans are considered, and the results of the model are utilized to find the optimal verification policy for evaluating and improving the reliability of the system.
