Abstract

Abstract A highly regular dendrite pattern surface was fabricated using a dot-pattern zinc sheet by electrodeposition. The relationship between pretreatment conditions and morphology of the dendrite pattern was investigated. The dendrite growth position could be controlled with high regularity depending on the height of the relief structure formed by electrodeposition.
