Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the views of A.V. Ekzemplyarsky on the peculiarities of relations between Russian princes in XIII-XV centuries based on the study of specific judgments contained in his work. An attempt is made to assess the contribution of the historian to the development of the historiography of Medieval Russia. Attention is drawn to the need to study the place and role of historians of the “second plan” in Russian historical science.
