Abstract

A 72-year old male undergoes a transurethral resection of a 1.5 cm bladder tumor occluding the left ureteric orifice which was found to be a high grade pT2 urothelial carcinoma with an obliterated left ureteric orifice. In the workup before the procedure a CT intravenous pyelogram revealed a filling defect in the left lower pole and renal calyx. An MRI scan did not demonstrate any filling defects.
